Villa Elizabetha
Afristruct was requested to oversee the demolition of existing buildings and put up a multistorey 400 bed Purpose Built Student Accommodation block. Concept to occupation was delivered in 15 months and we are still involved on a daily basis with the owners with respect to management of the accommodation, marketing and consulting on achieving best possible yields.
Afristruct is currently working with the owners to expand the current block and build a new PBSA development on a greenfield site in Lusaka.
Cavendish Uganda Law Faculty
From site selection, understanding the University’s requirements, student preferences, budgets and aspirations to delivering and managing the entire building as well as ongoing maintenance and additional design, Anthony has secured an ongoing retainer contract with the multi-University holdco. Since 2016 we have been consulting to and actively involved in all of their projects across the continent.
Karen Hills
A top end development in one of Nairobi’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, this project was taken from a troubled concept with significant deal structure and political issues to becoming a reality and delivering 60 million dollar plus houses with all associated infrastructure. Anthony was contracted into the developer’s fold to turn this flailing project around and ensure ROI’s were salvaged. This was not only achieved but also exceeded and all negotiations and cultural manoeuvrings navigated for the owners.
